A professional headshot is powerful, engaging, captivating, confident and sexy.

However, the most important element of your headshot, is that it must tell Casting Directors, Agents and Managers who you are and what roles you can play.

Before the shoot, we will meet for an in depth discovery of your individual qualities and to assess your professional goals, all of which will tell me how to design your headshot session. Some of the questions we’ll explore are:

• What parts are uniquely right for you?
• What dramatic/comedic material are you attracted to and want to illuminate?
• What writers and directors speak to your soul?
• What colors and clothing options will enhance your particular type so you can get in front of Casting Directors?
• What working actors are you similar to in type and temperament?
• What is the correct lighting for the shape of your face?
• How can your hair and make up choices create a professional look that will get you acting work?
• What parts can you realistically book tomorrow and what parts require more time for you to be reasonably considered for?

The answers to all these questions and many others will give me the information I need to create headshots for you that will stop Casting Directors, Agents and Managers in their tracks…and get you into auditions and meetings so you can work as a professional actor.

Working on your acting craft is supremely important, but becoming a professional actor requires a lot more – it requires a deeper understanding of yourself and the business you are in.
